When trying to link a couple of assets I'm getting the below errors (I've also tried making the new link as the root user):

Other HIPO jobs run through OK. Any ideas what the cause of this could be?

Do you have any HIPOs stuck on the HIPO Herder screen?
No, and i've asked around to check no other admins have been clearing out the HIPO herder, tried multiple times to make the link etc. but get the same errors / HIPO aborts every time...
Sounds like something else is blocking it. Check the error.log around the same time to see if there's anything obvious.
