We are using MySource Matrix Version 3.28.0 and corresponding EES.
Now, using /_edit on the end of a page URL brings up the EES.
How can I set things to use the Simple Editor instead?
For example, we have eCommerce "Product" assets and a simple edit layout that was previously accessed by adding "/_edit" to the URL… but now we can only get the EES. (which does not enable editing of the details such as price)
Can you tell us what we need to set up?

EES is configured per design. If it doesn't do what you want or you already have a custom simple edit interface, just remove the code from your design and don't use it. EES takes over the whole simple edit interface, so you can't access your old one if you have decided to use EES.
If you want to use EES for some parts of your site and not others, you will need to apply a non-EES design to those parts of the site you don't want using EES, or customise the parse file code to do something similar using print design areas or JS.
