iCal Data Source can expose events from an ICS file, however these can't be mapped into a Matrix Calendar asset as events.

Like other Data Sources, they can be used in an Asset Listing.



Some creative CSV creation and use of the import_asset_csv_to_matrix script can get your events into Matrix as real Single or Recurring Calendar Events, but that cannot be done directly from an ICS file.

I am looking for a way to sync Matrix Calendar with Sharepoint Calendar, it seems I have to get the shadow asset work as Matrix event, are there any alt ways? Thank you.

Can you expose your Sharepoint Calendar in some other way? e.g. a REST Service? SOAP ? XML ??

There are no plans for integration with Sharepoint Calendar.

So at the moment if there is a way to use existing tools to bring about a solution for listing, that is a good option.



However it will not be possible for these to be treated as Matrix event (Single Calendar Event etc.) assets for use with our Calendar assets without assessment and development work.
