Image Info for RSS 2.0

I'm having problems getting my thumbnail images to appear in my RSS feeds.

Can someone who has this working give me info on what they have entered into each box on the Image Info for RSS 2.0 settings box.

Thanks

Are you using the RSS page or a standard asset listing?

Its an RSS asset page

I’ve used the following image info for mine (http://aleks.bochniak.net/postbox/rss).

title Aleks Bochniak writes… an rss feed

description Ramblings, tips and pointers from a CMS Developer

url http://aleks.bochniak.net/__data/assets/image/0005/401/logo.jpg

width 68

height 64

link http://aleks.bochniak.net/__data/assets/image/0005/401/logo.jpg

Hi aleks,

thats great for a single logo but what about images in or as thumbnails such as the RSS feed from Engadget.com

The images you see in engadget's feed items are part of the content, within the description tag. Please correct me if I am missing something.

We do the same thing on our RSS feed.

It is just an image tag inside the description tag.

You have to manually make the RSS feed I think. You're limited to the defaults of the Matrix news items.

So what are you exactly adding to the description field, I assume a matrix tag of some description?

The example I gave is not from Matrix, it is on our old site. It is just an example of how you can add an image into an xml rss feed. You will have to look at the source, and recreate it using an asset listing.
