Import Web Documents

I have just finished installation after long struggle to get things right.!

How do I import / include web pages(HTML & PHP) designed by HTML editors & allow matrix to manage the content in this page?

Thanks in advance

Matrix separates content from design. You would need to create a Design asset that contains the HTML and then create Standard Page (and other page-based assets) to store the content. You should follow the Quick Start Guide in the Installation forum to see how this works.

Thanks Avi... I will go through the quick start guide

I have run through the quick start guide.. I am able to create documents and contents..
my problem is I have already a site developed with 20 pages with all xhtml standards & css .. how should i upload this to squiz?

copy and paste, 20 pages is nothing

well yes 20 pages is nothing.. I wanted to know is any other option?

There is no other option in the GPL version of MySource Matrix. The SSV version has additional import tools that allow you to create site structures and extract content from HTML and Word documents.

Thanks AVI. we are integrating few websites on a development machine with mysource-matrix .. how can I move(export) the
contents to the production server with mysource-matrix?. Should I repeat the set of instructions which were followed in the development system? is there any way I can export and import the site.

You can't export/import sites wth MySource Matrix. You could backup your development system and restore it onto the production servers.

Thanks a lot AVI
