Install of 3.14.0 fails with Import tools manager

I am tring to make a fresh install of 3.14.0, and it is failing to install the Import Tools manager, as it says that it can't be used with the GPL version.

Can somebody give me some light please?

Where did you get the v3.14 version from? If it includes the import tools, you need to switch to the SSV (Squiz Supported Version) by changing licence.inc in /path/to/matrix/data/private/conf.

Change the SQ_LICENCE_TYPE from GPL to SSV.

You also need to run install/generate_install_key.php as well.

I downloadded it from your website. Same thing had happened with RC1, but i did not report it since i decided to wait 4 days for the official release.

Is there a way NOT to install the import tools?, as for now, i need a non SSV version (hopefully we get an SSV in a month’s time)

Yes, just remove the Import Tools directory from the packages/ folder. I'll let the release guys know that its in the GPL package.

Thanks. When we switch to a SSV, will we be able to install the additional tools withought purging everything, and start from scratch?

Yes, you will.

This is being fixed now. Please note that the files in the import tools package should be there but the SSV check should not be in those files. So you can download the new files again when the release has been updated.

thanks. seems to be fixed now
