I am about to do a fresh install of 3.18RC1 SSV what options do I need to include in PHP5, Apache2 and what PEAR modules do I need?
PEAR modules are the same, except for DB. Other than that, you need the php5 PDO modules, with pgsql support. Also, you need DOM and XML support. I haven't actually had a chance to play with it myself, either! There are other threads here talking about what is required to get Matrix/5 installed. Also, it would good if you posted your distro and packages so that others can install it too. :)
Will do once it is installed, thanks for the speedy response
It is RH ES5 which appears to be causing a few issues with getting PHP5 right, because it does not want you to compile.
Got to remember how I did it with RH ES 4, would like to go back to Ubuntu.
Matrix v3.18 is designed to work with the RHEL5 PHP RPMs. You should not need to compile PHP on this distribution.
