Is it possible to remove the timestamps automatically from the pages

Hi all

Our clients are asking us whether its possible to removes this timestamps 'Page generated: 25 March 2008 10:06:19', from the header of generated pages created by the cms automatically.

Main issues is that it comparisoning with the java script they are running within the site level.

Therefore is it possible to switch off something from the server level or not.

Cheers

No, this text is automatically generated by Matrix. It is not removable without development. Keep in mind that it displays the date and time the page was generated by Matrix and is an excellent troubleshooting tool if you are having cache-related issues.

What the main reason being this timestamp appearing on the source code with the product id, don't you think its a security loop hold in regards to the product key appearing as well.

This has already been changed in the latest version of MySource Matrix. We no longer present version information in the output. Keep in mind that v3.12 is no longer supported by Squiz.
