Is there a way of document sorting

We'd like the sorting of the uploaded documents to be Alphabetical. At

the moment the documents are sorted in the order they have been

uploaded. This makes it hard to find documents. Is this possible or not :rolleyes:

As per this topic, yes there is an “Asset Sorting Tool” under tools in 3.12.0.

What I want to know is for example if i upload 100 pdf or image files into a folder called documents, and then i should be able to sort it out alphabetically. Please see the attachement of image

Once the documents are uploaded, you can use the Asset Sorting tool to sort those documents within the folder.

If you mean automatically as it is uploaded (which is what I believe your original post), maintaining the sort order after each upload, then that is not possible as far as I am aware. You can manually re-sort the list using the Asset Sorting Tool as Daniel mentioned, however the order will be upset once you upload further documents - the assets you sorted will still be sorted, but new files will still be added to the end of the list.

Yes - you specify the Parent Asset, Sort Field (Asset ID, Type Code, Name, Short Name, Status, or Date etc.) and the Sort Direction (Ascending/Descending).
