Hi
does anyone know of a keyword that prints the number of children that an asset has. Reason is I have a blog, and on the asset listing page I want to show how many comments that each asset has.
I like how on this page http://www.smh.com.au/technology/ under each article, there is a link to the comments then next to it the number of comments made
Thanks
Tim
What you need to do is look into use a second asset listing with list_current_asset_id. This has been dissussed other places on the forums. Take a look at:

Hi Tim,
%asset_num_kids% works in the asset map, may also work for your purposes.

I really don't think this keywords works anywhere but the asset map. It would need some context, such as being in a type format. But then again, nesting another asset builder gives you much more freedom.

Just tested and it seems you're right - no good except in the asset map
