Keyword modifiers not working for cutsom form keywords

We want to use the ^nl2br modifier to preserve white space in our custom form responses when output to the browser, but it doesn't seem to work:

%response_xxxx_q1^nl2br% doesn't convert the line breaks. The ^notempty:Blah modifier doesn't seem to work properly either.

We are running 3.28.4.

Many thanks.

Hi,

This was something that was discovered recently. Keyword modifier weren’t supported in form keywords but this is now been fixed on line with bug # 5012 tag and tagif keyword modifiers not working in 4.0.3. The link to patch, if you want to try it out, is # 5012 tag and tagif keyword modifiers not working in 4.0.3.

Hope that helps.

Ash

Thanks. This confirms what we suspected. We are planning to upgrade to version 4 in the near future so this should deal with the issue anyway.

Really? It's been annoying me for almost a year! Probably should have actually logged it as a bug…
