I seem to be having trouble with the LDAP Bridge module. I obtained the various details from the people that manage our Active Directory, but so far every time I interact with the LDAP Bridge in my Asset Map, Matrix stops responding.
I'm sorry it's a vaugue question, but perhaps someone has had a similar experience?

We use the LDAP Bridge all the time without issues.
LDAP bridge can be problematic. How many users would you be expanding out in the asset map? I don't know the number but it can quickly use up ram and just take forever to return a large dataset. Once you have it all configured and connected, in your admin search try search for:
<bridgeid>:<base dn>
eg
1234:cn=Robert,ou=Blah,o=Your co,c=AU
It really depends on what you are storing (and how many users) in your AD as far as groups goes if you want to apply permissions, but you can apply them in the same format of that search string above.
