List of allowed or not allowed file types

Have you got a definitive list of file types you do not allow. Or even a definitive list of file types that you do allow. We have had issues with uploading .svg via the upload file form question.

I have clients asking me to allow all file types, I’m skeptical as I’m concerned that the form will fail on certain file types. Can’t seem to find a list anywhere.

I think the preference is what configures it - https://matrix.squiz.net/manuals/system-configuration/chapters/global-preferences#File-Preferences_allowed-file-extensions-to-upload - so it’s not up to the system configuration and could even be configured per user.
