Looking into the trash

I found something incredible but it may be useful to know.

A user cannot upload image files however all the settings were done, permissions, user group preferences. After checking through the whole asset map, including every linked user group's preferences, didn't find anything wrong.

Finally I looked into the trash, there was an archived user group which included this user, whose preferences was restricted to PDF, Word Doc. Then I purged that user groups from TRASH. The user could upload image files now.

If you want to know what groups a user is in because you use group restrictions, just look at the User's linking screen. You'll see every group listed there and you can click the binoculars to expand the asset map to that group as well.

Thanks Greg. I did that. But in Matrix, it's a matrix. A user group can be under another one, I also have to check its parent's linking separately as well. Only by this way can I check THROUGH the whole matrix. I've spent 3 hours but I think it deserves.
