Matrix Whitebrand 3.4.0?

Is there a whitebrand package for 3.4.0?

Should I contact someone directly at Squiz to get this?

Sam

Or…

Can I somehow take the Whitebrand modules I already have and integrate them into a new install of 3.4.0?

Either way, I'm happier than installing Whitebrand 3.2.1 then upgrading to 3.4.0 after that.

You cant use the whitebrand modules on 3.4.0. Someone else is best to answer the question of a 3.4.0 whitebrand (and even if this is possible).

The current Whitebrand installation is based on v3.4.0. If you have an existing v3.2.0 whitebrand installation, please contact your Account Manager to arrange an upgrade to v3.4.0.

Hi there, I'm the sysadmin who runs the servers Sam is talking about.

We got up and running with 3.2.0 on our development server to check everything worked ok, and we're starting the process of installing for real on the deployment server.

I don't believe that there is really any data Sam is looking to move across, so my preference was to install 3.4.0 from scratch rather than moving the development install across and doing an upgrade.

So we should just contact you to get the Whitebrand version? We'll do that then.

thanks for the responses.

Yup, speak to your Account Manager about getting a fresh v3.4.0 Whitebrand package.

I was led to believe that:
The only changes to the White-Brand version at this stage is the core CMS which is version 3.4.0.

The White-Brand package is made up of:

*The core MySource Matrix CMS (updates regularly)

*The MySource Matrix commercial modules (updated as new modules are developed released)

*AGIMO custom assets (updated as AGIMO develops more functionality that it chooses to include in the package)

*Documentation ( http://matrix.squiz.net/whitebrand )

*GITC4 procurement contract
The implication being I should just download the core CMS files…is this not correct?

Cheers

Dale

This is not correct. The Whitebrand product includes some of the commercial modules as well, which are version specific. Therefore, you need to upgrade everything to the right version, including all the commercial modules and the updated AGIMO assets.
