Metadata Select Field

Hi Guys,


While using metadata select field, I set one option as the default value. This metadata select field's value can be updated in asset builder and simple edit interface via the keyword of %metadata-F_{metadata schema field id}%, for example: %metadata-F_99999%.



Then I find the field's value cannot be changed back to its default one in simple edit interface. Every time I select the default value, and commit, its value still remains unchanged.



This problem also takes place in Admin interface. The only way to change back to default value is to tick the checkbox of "Use default" in Admin interface. But that checkbox won't be printed in simple edit interface with the keyword of %metadata-F_{metadata schema field id}%. It can only be printed with the keyword of %metadata-F_metadata_values% which prints out the whole Field "metadata_values".



How can I change the select field back to the default value?
