The "Only If Filled" option for show on front end says;

[quote]this metadata field will only be printed on the frontend if data is entered in that field for that asset.[/quote]

I am trying to make use of this.

If I add default data to the Schema it prints on frontend if I dont it doesnt, good.

But if I leave whithout default data and just add data to the asset it doesn't print.

Am I misinterpreting the above quote or is there some other problem I cant see.

If you add data to the asset, the metadata should be printed on the frontend. If this is not happening then it may be a bug.


To replicate it, we would need to know what type of metadata field you are using.

Text fields only at this point.

The bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Matrix. The fix will be part of the Beta release available to clients in early June.
