Multiple 'Asset Map Root Asset' settings for one user - how does Matrix determine what to use?

When there are multiple 'Asset Map Root Asset' settings for one user - how does Matrix determine what to use? We have one user whose in multiple groups with different Asset Map Root Assets set, and they're getting bounced to the top level of the Asset Map.

They've asked if we could set restore the Root Asset to be one of their sites - without messy groups just to set the Root Asset is there any way we can sort the groups (etc) to make that happen?

Hi,

If the user is in multiple groups and hence having more than one 'Asset Map Root Asset', Matrix gets all the root assetids and tries to find a common parent for these. In you case it seems like the common parent is the Root Folder, that is why the user is getting tossed to the top level of the Asset Map.

Hope this helps,
