I have what I think is a great idea for an asset listing, but I can't seem to put it into practice.
What I want is an asset listing that lists only the first page of a multiple page asset. (The first page is a summary and the second is the full article.) When I view a multiple page asset as a webpage, I see the first page. But if I try to insert the contents of a multiple page into an asset listing using %asset_contents%, I get "There are currently no pages to display". Is there a keyword I can use in an asset listing that will include the contents of the first page of a multiple page asset? Or is there a way I can include only the first multiple page page asset in an asset listing?
Thanks.
I'd be interested to know if there are any keywords that can pull out specific pages for multiple pages too. Would there be a %globals_asset_attribute_X% that would help?
For your purpose would a 'What's New' Asset + 'News Item' be more appropriate? - you can grab %asset_attribute_summary% to display

I think you are probably right actually. I will look at redoing my articles as news items.
