This is a general post to see if anybody elese has had to deal with these type of errors, not a specifc request for support.
We are running Mysource 3.16.7 on RHEL5 and the database is Oracle 10.2.0.4 on another RHEL5 box.
We have had two instances recently where the overnight oracle backup has failed due to corrupt blocks, the problem is still under investigation but at this stage it looks like logical corruption i.e. the oracle metadata in the block (that's an oracle block of data) header does not agree with what's in the data when a consistency check is undertaken.
We are able to export the matrix schema no problems so the data is not corrupt and Mysource is currently functioning without problem. Oracle and our Oracle support people are looking into it as I type.
Is this ringing any bells with anyone using oracle 10i out there ?
