Paint Layout on linked asset

I am using a paint layout on a folder of linked assets.
Problem is, I just realised the original assets inherit the paint layout also (as they shouuld).



How can a paint layout be applied to a folder of linked assets in one location and not the other?

If I understand your question the folder is linked in two different locations and you want the layout to only apply in one?


In this case you would apply it in the url specific definitions of the setting screen.

Thanks Shane, I did try this but I had no luck.

I'll have to consult the manual again and try some more.



At least I know I'm now on the right track and it is possible.

A bit stuck here. Applied the below settings to my linked asset via 'URL Specific Definitions' but they still are being inherited by both Assets.


Paint Layout - Summary



URL __________|Effective Paint Layout

Original asset URL__|none

Linked asset URL|___Feature Accordion (Id: #123456) - Override



Am I missing something? Any guidance apprceciated.
