Hi


I have a question.

I have website with in the Matrix which is hidden from google indexing for some reason PDF documents are still vissible to Google index does anyone have any sugestions how to hide thme from Google search results?

Does your pdt files have __data urls? If so, this is because you gave them public permissions and made them live. In doing that, Apache serves the files and not Matrix. So, this could be how Goole is finding them.


You can however, not allow this, if you go to the details screen of the pdf files, and set allow unrestricted to "no". This will force Matrix to serve the files, which you can then add appropriate permissions to so that no spider can see them.

Or you can deny the request with Apache.
