Pear packages not available

https://pear.php.net/ is down due to security issues. Is there alternate solution?

pear channel-update pear.php.net && pear upgrade -f

pear install -f http_client http_request i18n_unicodenormalizer image_canvas image_color image_graph mail mail_mime mail_mimedecode mail_queue net_url services_json text_diff xml_htmlsax xml_parser

I tried to download and install packages directly from Github but it is throwing dependencies errors.

Any suggestion?

FYI: I am trying to install Matrix 5.5 and stuck on step 2.

The recent release of Matrix 5.5.1.5 seems to indicate it has features to download the vendor pacakges but not sure if this is Pear related.

Wait and see.

Thanks mate. Matrix 5.5.1.5 source code link isn’t active on VM’s page. Hopefully, they will fix it soon.

I’ll look in to your suggestions as well.

The link has been fixed, but also, the Pear website is up now.
