We have set up and connected to the SOAP API web service.
Received the Session ID and key.
Included the session ID and key in the URL of subsequent requests.
Our Login and password is for a user who has READ WRITE and ADMIN permissons for the particular website, and those permissions are set to cascade to all children and new children.
But when we attempt to create an new asset, we get this message:
[quote]Failed to complete operation: Unable to Create link:Cannot create link from "Data"(#166) to "Folder #368(#368) - no write permission for either asset [SYS0301][/quote]
Can anyone suggest what we have done incorrectly, or where to look for the cause,… please?
And on second attempts we sometimes get a failure message refering to a "lock held by the Public user"
What would cause the Public User to acquire a lock?
any Ideas?
