Problem with asset picker

For whatever reason depending on a computer we use I can't use the asset picker.

Anyware where I need to click on "change btn" and then pick an asset nothing happens when Change button is clicked. Normaly asset map turns purple and so on… Asset map itself works fine.

Nothing has been changed we run latest Java and it was working last week at this location.

popups are allowed for this domain

Upon little investiagtion

Java console shows this message

Error: Unknown property 'filter'. Declaration dropped.

and it seems only to effect cross frame operation, if you adding image in WYSIWIG asset picker works

I suspect it has to do with some setting but which? both browsers behave the same IE6 and Firefox 1.5 must be something with Java.

Help Any ideas?

I worked it out, for everyone out there who looked at this post: thank you. This was neither computer or Mysource problem, but wait for it hosting…

We have a temporary domain setup for development that looks like that

http://ourdomain.tmp.bla.bla

and an alias in apacher for

http://ourdomain.tmp.bla.bla

I still don’t know why but if you login in to Mysource through first URL (without www) everything works fine, but if you login through second URL (with www) you can do everything but use asset picker, bazzar but now I can replicate this problem on any computer I know this is what causing it.

I will have to speak to our hosting provider.

 feeling much better

Do you have both of those configured as System Root URLs in Matrix? If not, you will need to add the missing domain.
