We are making some redirect pages, but want to track how many people hit those pages.
Maybe I am slow today, but can anyone think of a way to get google to track the hits to the redirect URL?
If anyone is interested, I got it figured out.
I used a standard page with no design and included the google analytics utm gif along with an onload attribute that redirects to my URL.

Hi Nick,
Maybe its my lack of coffee this morning, but how do I make a page with no design? I'm automatically inheriting a design from my site asset and I can't see how to remove it?
Or do I actually need to create a new blank design and apply that?

Yes, you would need to apply a blank design just to those pages.
Thanks Nick,
All up and running perfectly. Blank design containing the google analytic code with a simple redirect works wonders. The stats people are thrilled.
They are implementing QR codes and wanted a way of tracking code scans. This way I have a unique inbound URL for us in the QR codes and they can keep an eye on various campaigns through our normal analytics. Can keep the same QR code for future use too by changing the redirect. If that's what they want to do…

Ha, this is funny, that is EXACTLY what I just used it for, QR code tracking.
