I am trying to fix a broken re-direct page. To access the re-direct page (which takes ppl to our PDF marketing calendar document) you need to be logged into our site.
This is what happens:
Log in - all ok
Click on the Marketing Activities Calendar link (the redirect page/link)
New window pops up displaying the calendar
Our webpage window that is now behind the calendar (i.e. where you were when you logged in & clicked on the link just a second ago) fails to keep the permissions alive after the reidirect is clicked, expires and kicks the user out.
User must then close the PDF window, refresh orginal window (i.e. our site) and re-log in again.
Why does this keep happening? How come the site expires and users have to refresh & re-log in?
The problem doesn't exist in FireFox only IE, but 90% of our users are using IE so we need to fix it.
Looking forward to some genius on this one… 
What are your settings in Global Preferences under Session Expiry Rules?
