 Hi all
Receieved a patch for the remote content for 3.10.3. But there is a minor glitch with the patch or could it be a human error.
Basically when we set the
Media? Yes
Everything else that is not an image - Flash, Movies and other objects.
It still display the dynamic url address of the virtual hosts, instead of the following example.
http://cms-xxx.xxx.xxx.au/xxx/remote/documents?sq_content_src=%2BdXJsPWh0dHAlM0ElMkYlMkZjbXNjb250ZW50LnNjaWVuY2UudW5pbWVsYi5lZHUuYXUlMkZtZWRpYSUyRnB1YmxpY2F0aW9ucyyRnB1YmxpY2F0aW9uXzg4LmpwZyZhbGw9MQ%3D%3D
Thank you
You need to log a support request so that we can take a look at your specific system. It probably has something to do with the source content and how Matrix's URL rewriting engine sees it.
If the url of the media file is not in the "Allow Base Urls", then it will not be re-written (if you use the base urls feature at all).
That's as much help as I can give you with the amount of detail you provided.
Either provide a screenshot of your Remote Content backend + source code for the block that doesn't get re-written or go through the support channel for privacy and speed.
Hi all,
I am currently experiencing problems with the same issue. I am using a remote content page that is performing some simple queries. In the end of the file I have a <next> function if there are more than 10 results in the query. The initial query works fine but when hitting the next link it computes this obscure url:
http://xxxxxxxxx.org.uk/memberslist.php?sq_content_src=%2BdXJsPWh0dHAlM0ElMkYlMkZwbGEub3JnLnVrJTJGbWVtYmVyc2xpc3QucGhwJTNGcGFnZU51bV9SZWNvcmRzZXQxJTNEMiUyNn
vdGFsUm93c19SZWNvcmRzZXQxJTNEMjMlMjZzZWFyY2h0ZXJtJTNEamFtZXMlMjZhbXAlM0JzZWFyY2glM0RTZWFyY2gmYWxsPTE%3D Does anyone have any solution to this?
If I manipulate the search string and add in the parameters it should have then I get the results I want so the query and code is correct but there is something in Matrix that is limiting the query to perform.
Look forward hearing back :)
not without knowing what url you're trying to bring in or the version of Matrix you're using
