Removing permissions with a trigger

Hello. Hopefully I can explain this in a non-confusing manner, and what I'm trying to do is sensible.


I've got an asset listing (with effective permissions turned off) listing a set of assets (form submissions) - so users are able to see assets which belong to them. I've also got another asset listing (with effective permissions turned on) which lets users see all the assets in a set (theirs and assets which belong to others).



I've set up some triggers so users are able to clone an asset. The trouble is if a user clones someone else's asset, both the original owner and the person who just cloned it have permissions over the asset, so they will both see the clone in their asset listing, which isn't really what I want to have happen.



Is there any way to remove/reset permissions on an asset with a trigger? Alternatively, is there a better approach I can take to filter the asset listing?

There is a remove permissions option in the set permissions trigger, but it may only be in 3.24.0

ah, right, I think it must be 3.24 only, as I can't see anything like that.

Unless Jaco has upgraded since July the version is 3.22.2
