Reordering assets hanging in 3.18.2

Upgraded a pre-production 3.18.1 to 3.18.2 this morning. Only change I then made was the default timezone, plus editing a few pages. I mention timezone only because I’ve logged a bug there already #3055. Doubt it is connected to this issue but you never know.

Since the upgrade I’ve not been able to re-order assets within a parent asset using the asset map. That is, every time I try to move such an asset (tried page, PDF, image) by dragging it elsewhere under the same parent asset, then choosing Move Here from the menu, the asset map hangs in “Requesting…” state. It never returns and I have to restart the browser (tried a couple of flavours of browser just in case). Type of parent doesn’t seem to matter either.

I’ll log a bug but wanted to see (a) if anyone else was suffering, (B) anything else I could do in the way of diagnostics, © workaround. Nothing showing in error.log.

thanks, martin

I just upgraded to 3.18.2 as well, and I can confirm that it does not work. I am getting the following error:

Error While Requesting:error while parsing: The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed.

I can confirm this too. We'll fix it up and re-release 3.18.2.

Re-release done. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Note that this only affected 3.18.2 - those who downloaded 3.16.9 need not re-download.

Thanks for the quick fix! Confirmed now working.
