Trying to get my first batch of rss feeds up and running… kind of semi-successful but not quite.
1 - I am working with news items in rss 2.0. I select description from the ‘choose tag’ dropdown but no matter what I put in as my keyword or what I select from the ‘enter keyword’ drop-down… the code it spits out has nothing between the description tags. See http://www.holroyd.nsw.gov.au/rachels_test/council_news
2 - When working in Atom 1.0 when I select ‘Asset attribute:body’ as the content (with the aim of showing the whole article in someone’s feed reader) then it displays in the reader showing all the html markup. How do I stop this?

My advice would be to forget the RSS asset all together, and build it using an Asset Listing. This is what I have done frequently and it alleviates and problems that the RSS asset might cause. And, it gives you much more flexibility.

Hi Rachel,
See the post http://www.holroyd.nsw.gov.au/rachels_test/council_news for Nic’s brilliant solution.
Robin
Yes, when I first ran into difficulties I began building an asset listing but it's a bit harder than just filling in the blanks from the manual (which is all I did with my description problem; step by step on page 33 on the 3.18 news manual as we are on 3.18.11). I will use it as a fallback if I have to but… well, I guess I figure the rss feed exists and I'd like to use it!
