Hi,
We have pages with RSS & XML feed content, we used assets like "Data Sources"(RSS & XML) to get and "asset listing pages" to present the content.
Is there any way to configure the XML Data sorceress Data source to server the pages even if feed URLs goes down & cache expires? Or any cache configurations like not expire the cache if URLs are down?
At present we enable the cache and it is serving the cache pages even if URLs are down, but when cache expires it tries to creates a fresh shadow assets(as expected)… then we are not able see the content.
We have a requirement to server the pages even RSS or XML feed URLs goes down for some time and cache expires. What we need is fresh content when URLs are up and cache expires & old content when URLs are down even if cache expires.
We came to know that there is way to make shadow asset to real assets but this is not fisible solutions to us.
Is there any other approach or solution to achieve this?

In the no result page of the asset listing page, nest the other asset listing page with the same setting but has a very long cache expiry.
edit: no need to use redirect page, nest directly.
