Scheduling new content to be released

Hi,


I know we can set up future status through Cron Manager. I want to add content to the current live page and link it to a new pdf file. This new content should only be released on monday. Can you please help me with some instructions on how to do this?



Do I create a new standard page with the content and all and set it to under construction and then set the future status for this page to be live on Monday. In this case, will it replace the exisitng page with the new page??

No, because that will break the links to your existing page. Put the current page into Safe Edit mode, then make your changes. Once you're happy, you can "Apply for Approval" to move the asset into "Safe Edit Approved to Go Live" status. Then, set the Future Status change to "Live" at your chosen date/time.

At that point, Matrix will make the page live and the changes made in Safe Edit will become visible.
