Is the Search Module able to search the content of assets, more specifically PDF Asset Contents or do you to use the pdftohtml external tool to get this functionality?
We use the external tool get get a list of keywords to index, then we search that. In fact, the search module never searchs assets directly - it always indexes and then searchs the index.
Sorry i didn't really understand your reply. So if i wanted our users to be able to use the search function to search document (pdf) content i will need to get the pdftohtml tool??

Sorry about not being clear. Yes, you need to get the pdftohtml tool so the search manager can index the PDF content for searching. This is the only way we extract keyword content from PDF files.
