When setting global weightings in the search manager, if I make changes to asset type page do standard pages, asset builders, etc inherit the changes? If not, is there a way I can make it rather than trying to manage all those types seperately?

The way asset type weightings work in Search Manager is that when an asset is indexed, it uses the settings of the closest customised parent type. So in your above example, it would use Page's settings as the setting, assuming that no asset types in-between your asset and Page have been customised.
Be aware that ALL of the weightings are inherited. So, for example, if you customised Asset Builder's weightings, then an asset like Account Manager (which inherits from Asset Builder) would completely ignore Page's weightings and use Asset Builder's settings. You can't override some weightings and inherit others.
