I have metadata field called "Type" which users set to the type of the document, i.e. minute, letter, agenda, guideline, form etc. Alternatively I can have a thesaurus with the same values and set them via the Tagging Screen.
However, what I want to allow users to do is to restrict their searches to one of these pseudo asset types. For example a User might be looking for "forms" to do with purchasing. There might be a great deal of information on purchasing but all they are interested in is the purchasing forms. Can they have the option to search for the keyword "purchasing" and have the results restricted only to those assets which have their metadata field "Type" value set to "Form"?
