Hi!
Do you know if it's possible to have more then just %asset_name_linked% list displayed on the search results page? If I'm looking for a keyword 'surname', I'll get a list of links to all the pages with 'surname'. But would it be possible to have a bit more displayed there, for example the whole sentence with that keyword? Or maybe some metadata taken from those assets that contains that particular keyword?
You know, something like in Joomla!..
cheers,
What other options are there for you in the keywords drop-down ?

Yes just look in the type format and add what you want.
I recommend having a look through the search manualâŚ
You can view the search manual here.
thanks for replying. Could you guys be a bit more specific about where in the Search manual could I find that info? For example on page 39, on your screenshot of the Search Results Page you have something like this:
2 results found:
Home - This is the Home page
MySource Matrix - This is a page about My Source Matrix
and your explanation:
The Results Page Layout Bodycopy is used to define the layout if results are found from the search that is being performed. For example, for the Search Page shown in the figure below, a heading, the number of results found, the list of results and other related terms are shown. This has been defined in the Results Page Layout Bodycopy.
Sorry for being so dumb, but where is 'This is the Home page' coming from? I'm guessing is a metadata field (is it?) but I can't find any information in the manual about how to configure it or any keywords to use for that in Appendix 1 and 'Keyword Replacements on the Results Page Layout Bodycopy section.
You will find what you want threaded through a large number of manuals, forum posts and online resources. Basically assets go belly up and give up their info via keywords in many different scenarios. Any asset or scenario that displays an asset has any number of keywords that can extract information. You can even put keywords in the wysiwyg of a standard page and expose itâs guts to the world. What is available and where is a matter of piecing together the documented fact and a bit of trial and error. One very effective online resource is http://matrixsecrets.com/2009/02/mysource-keywords if you combine this with the keywords manual, the manual of the asset you are dealing with, a search of the forums for âkeywordâ and a little bit of creativity you will be able to do just about anything;)
Yes this information is coming from metadata. I have created a metadata schema and have added the field Description. On the Results Page Layout Bodycopy I have added the keyword replacement %asset_metadata_Description%.
Information on the metadata keyword replacement can be found in the MySource Matrix Concepts manual.
