Recently, our expired cached seems to be changing. It used to expire sometime during the night. So pages that I updated, I would just let expire, and they would be new to public users in the morning. This is no longer happening for some reason, as that time has somehow slipped.
Is there a way that I can force the expiry time to happen at a certain time?
We use trigger to clear the page cache on update, I think quite a few Matrix users do so. Then the proxy pulls out the updated content from Matrix cache and publishs to the public. It seems that you set cache expiry time to 12hrs so the proxy gets new content in the midnight. Is there some reason to set expiry time at a certain time?

You know what Robin, I have totally spaced on thinking about using a trigger to just clear the pages that I updated. We had this set up years ago, but I removed it for some reason. Just added it back, and it works quite well. Thanks for refreshing my memory about this.
