Hi,
I'm attempting to create a trigger that will change the asset's status to 'up fro review' using a metadata date value for that asset.
In the "Set future Status" actions panel there is the option "at exactly the date and time stored in the attribute", the only metadata attribute available in the drop down list is "Metadata Schema" and there seems to be no way to select a particular metadata field.
Reading the manuals, there is not much information about using the "at exactly the date and time stored in the attribute" option in the Set Future Status panel.
Is it possible to set the future status from a metadata field in a trigger? If not is there another way to achieve the same thing?
Thanks Georgina.
Hi Georgina
The metadata time value can fire the trigger, I assume you have been able to create the metadata schema and select the right field for the condition. Rather than trying to use two fields for firing and setting you could use the firing field for the time you want it to go up for review and just change the status when the trigger fires. Or you can use future status and set a particular amount of time after the trigger fired. The problem with the selector you are looking at in the set future status is that it is an asset selector, when you set an asset and commit there is another dropdown that appears with the attributes.
