I want to set up an "up for review" on site/page(s) that haven't made any change to it say every 3/6 months etc… I know trigger manager does this but i was also told if i enabled this trigger manager it take affect on all the site that sit under the asset map and will slow down the CMS, is there a way to setup just to trigger one or two site? or is there another way i can setup an "up for review" on site/page(s) without using trigger?

If you wanted to set up for review on a page without using Triggers you could use the future status options on the details screen of the asset. Set it to go up for review in 3/6 months, then if you edit it - just delete the future status and add a new one. It's a manual process as opposed to the trigger system which would be automatic.
Triggers can be set with multiple conditions to make them 'more specific' to certain areas of your site, certain events or any number of other conditions that can be added to ensure that the scope of the trigger isn't so broad as to slow down your site appreciably.
