Simple Edit for Backend Users

Hi,


I've configured a simple edit interface to edit backend users' details. When I access this interface logged in as that particular user it works fine.



If I am logged in as root however Matrix presents me with a login form. This is strange as I expected an administrator (especially root) to be able to access all pages.



Is this a bug or is there something I am missing?

The root user should have permission to all assets in Matrix. When you see the login form, does it tell you who you are logged in as? Does it actually say "Root User"?

Yup. I am still logged in as root. If I replace the _edit with _admin then I can edit the user in the backend. Very odd.

Report it as a bug for now -- the devs can investigate. :)
