Hi all,
wondering what the reasoning was for not allowing Single Calendar Events to be added as child nodes of standard pages? We have some course pages on our site and we would like each date that the course is being run on to be listed on that page. It made sense to us to add single calendar events under the course page so that we could nest a dynamic root node asset listing on the course page. However, it seems matrix doesnt let you do it.
Is there a reason? I realise that I could put a folder under each course and add them in there but cant see why I should need to…
Thanks for any info,
Steve
OK, doesnt seem to be any response to that one…so I guess I'll put in a request to Squiz to allow this relationship.

There is no particular reason, however it should be possible to use a Folder asset as a parent for this purpose.
I would do that.
I think a lot of the asset creation restrictions were based on assumed usage, and things have changed in the way people build things. Removing these restrictions is not a lot of work.
