Squiz matrix SSO support

Hi


We want to integrate squiz matrix with our existing user profile store[Not LDAP. Oracle DB]. Doesn squiz matrix support SSO or SAML integration apart from LDAP integration.

Matrix doesn't support SSO or SAML yet. But could include it in near future if there is enough funding.



If user details exist in DB, we could build custom user bridge and authentication method to allow integration with Matrix. Please contact Squiz Support for details.

I see from Squiz Labs latest post that the SAML2 assset is likely to be released in the not-too-distant-future.


My thanks to the development team and the sponsor for rolling out some really useful functionality. This will resolve a long standing problem that I’ve had managing authentication.



I’m curious about how the asset replaces the Service Provider role. I’m sure that this will become clearer in time.
