What is the content of that XML file?

(Avi Miller) #22

Until you get step_03.php and compile_locales.php to complete successfully, the asset will not appear in the asset map.

Also, please don't keep starting new topics about the same issue. Rather, keep all your questions in a single topic. I have merged this question into the original topic so that we can keep the entire issue in a single place.

i complete successfully the step_03.php and compile_locales.php. Still my product page will not appear in the asset map.

So that error you pasted above no longer appears when you run compile_locales.php? Both scripts need to run without any errors.

So, you're seeing the Product Page asset in the "Add" menu. You add a new Product by providing a Name and then clicking "Commit". Does the system reload to show you the Details screen of your new Product Page? If not, do you get an error?

(Loggedon Menard) #27

yup i see the product page asset in the add menu.

Switching to the Linking screen for that asset (by using the drop-down menu in the right-hand corner) and take a look at where it was created. That asset definitely exists, its probably just sitting under one of your other folders.

Linking screen:

Right-click the "testing" folder and click "Refresh" – you should see your asset then. If a + symbol appears next to the folder, click it to expand the folder view. You could also click the binoculars next to the link entry on that linking screen.
