I am desperate to try squiz software, but I can't even make it to step03 in the installation. My problem is that I don't know exactly what the following sentence means:


    The installer MUST NOT be located under the system root directory (currently located at /home/ransick/domains/ment2.be/public_html/webinstaller with system root set to /home/ransick/domains/ment2.be/public_html). Please move the installer to a location under the webroot but not under the system root.


systemroot? webroot? :huh:

I have my installer in the site root in a folder and the mysource in another folder also in the site root. What am I doing wrong?

You should set your System Root to the folder that stores the Matrix files. In your case, its probably:

    /home/ransick/domains/ment2.be/public_html/matrix


Be aware that the installer sometimes has difficulty installing on shared hosting servers. You may need to scan through some of the threads on the forum if you run into more problems.
