Hello there, can you please confirm if there is a feature in MySource Matrix that allows a person to subscribe to an individual page(s).
And would you know with the RSS feed/subscription option in MySource Matrix, does this feature allow for subscribers to be emailed?
Im thinking of the options, so if using RSS feeds were the way to go, is there any limitation to how many RSS feeds you have. So for every page on the site, to have an RSS feed for it, is that just too much? I realise there are other products eg Google Reader that allow for subscribing to pages without RSS feeds but the website that is requiring the feature is not on a public server.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Yeah that's it, for a user to be able to Subscribe to a page(s) so that they can be emailed notification that the page(s) have been updated
Matrix doesn't have out-of-the-box email notification functionality. When looking at solutions we prefer to produce an RSS feed and/or list of recent updates we can show in a list style. However, it's not out of the realm of possibility for Matrix to do this, but you'd be looking at a fair bit of custom work (I'd be thinking custom DB calls and triggers).

Heya Anthony thanks plenty for the prompt reply. Hmm sort of needing something right now… would you know of any other application out there that can cater to the need for email notification of updates to a single page or many? that can be installed on an intranet environment. I've found that FireFox has an add-on that allows for notification of updates, but its not a browser the company supports.
Would you know if you can integrate into Matrix a subscription to a page notification app?
