Does Squiz Matrix support multiple server setups?
E.g. rather than having a single front end hosting Matrix with database either on the same server or dedicated db server, can Matrix support a setup where there are two of three front ends allowing for ease of OS updates and patching? Or does anyone have experience with a complicate server environment?
Our system admins have been building multiple server solutions for our Moodle environments, which being another PHP application has them suggesting options. The benefit of being able to patch and reboot one front end without having any impact on the uptime is attractive.
