Tags within content

Q1 - Can you use <MySource> Tags in the contents of a page as well as in the design template?

Q2 - Also, can you use code blocks within the contents of a page, or do you need to create a new page design template?

Q3- Is there a tag that can be used that stops any special parsing happenning. IE a block tag called <dontTouchMe>Plain text only</dontTouchMe>.

Q1 - No
Q2 - You cant put PHP within your pages

Q3 - No, but what do you want it for? Maybe there is something we can figure out.

Q1.1 - Is it possible to have a page that runs some mysource tags as well as have some plain content?

Q2.1 - How do you run PHP code within Matrix?

Q3.1 - Was asking about an exclusion tag, if there was a possibility of running code and plain text in the same page, by use of blocks/div tags. Ie an automated display of content, but for a 1 week only the manager wants a paragraph on this page that says some message. (If that makes any sense)

Q1.1 - You need to use a design to display tags

Q2.1 - You need to create a new asset type to run it

Q3.1 - I think I know what you mean. There is no such tag - you have to create your own asset type to do it. However, the example you listed here could be done using a future lineage. If you set the DIV that has the content in it to be moved after the week is over, the content would be gone. You can also set it to under construction to hide the content.
