I would like to be able to find out who has committed changes to a page asset. Seems in the log options I should be able to find out the asset status changes with the 'Asset Status'… therefore if publishers have put the page into safe edit to make changes I can see this… but this is not displaying users that have put the standard page into safe edit and committed changes.
I would like to get similar information as the 'log manager' (under system management) produces for 'system' monitoring
Any hints out there?
k, the pages I was asked to report on are still under construction - in our migration process. Therefore none of the logs are reporting what I had expected. Once a live page is placed into safe edit --> log reflects this. When the page is made live --> the date reflects this… etc… etc…
Therefore we are unable to produce reports during site migration on sites that are still under construction. That is as expected really. So question answered!
nb. the logs work nicely for standard page assets that are live, which is when they are really needed
You can still see content changes by navigating down the DIV Content and checking its Asset Attributes Full Log screen. You'll see each save.
Is there any way of seeing user content changes for an entire site?
I have a site with ~300 assets and would rather not check the logs for each asset individually
Thanks

The default Matrix setup will log events of the type "asset.attributes.fulllog.scalar" to the "System Log" in Log Manager.
This type will log changes to items such as asset name and page contents.
If this is not occurring, such logging can be configured in "Messaging Service Configuration" under "System Configuration".
The "Log To File" white and black lists denote which event types will be written to the system log file. Please note that this
file will probably be set to rotate daily.
If you require a list of updated assets instead of detailed content changes, a "What's New" asset can be configured to list assets by last updated date.
Finally, depending on your situation, it might be worthwhile setting up Workflow if you require greater editorial control.
Great - a "What's New" asset did the trick B)
We have workflow in place but this particular site has approximately 30 web authors when we suspect only a handful are actually making any updates.
Thanks!
