Is it possible to make a trigger than only fires when an Asset Status changes from one particular status to another.
I can only seem to be able to make triggers that fire when they change to a certain status, but I would like to be able to also check the previous status.
Example I want to fire a trigger when an assets status moves from 'Safe Edit Approved to go Live' to 'Live'. So I set Asset Status 'Live' as the condition ion the trigger.
This works fine if the user places the asset into safe edit, then applies for approval which is approved, then made live. However, if the user puts the asset in safe edit, then cancels safe edit, the trigger fires also. How can I stop this from happening.

It is not possible. You can only fire a trigger when the status changes to a specific value.
Agree, I've replayed the procedure, the trigger wasn't fired.
